  1. Transport — mode, distance (0 lets the portal work it out), vehicle number, transporter GSTIN or ID and name.
  2. Part A — comes from the invoice or challan.
  3. Download JSON — for the portal’s bulk generation.
  1. Open the issued invoice or challan

    E-way Bill File.

  2. Add the transport

And check the PIN codes and destination state.

  3. Download the JSON

Upload it on the e-way bill portal’s bulk generation.

  4. Record the number

The 12-digit number, when it was generated and until when it’s valid.

Once recorded, the number prints on the document — the page, the PDF, the link and the email attachment. The card tells you when an e-way bill is needed (goods over ₹50,000; some states set their own limit within the state). Transport details are remembered for next time.

Hectile never signs in to the portal

You upload the file yourself. Hectile follows the portal’s published layout; your first upload is the real check.
