  1. From an invoice — what’s left to deliver of each line fills in.
  2. Receiver’s line — “Received in good condition — name, signature and date”.
  1. From an issued invoice

More → Create Delivery Note. Or New Document → Delivery Note on its own.

  2. Choose Show prices

On: rates and value of goods. Off: quantities only.

  3. Add Delivered by

    It prints on the note.

  4. Issue, then send or print

    Like any document.

  5. Mark Delivered

With the date and who received it, when the signed copy is back.

A delivery note carries no tax, has no due date and never changes what the customer owes. Once everything on an invoice is delivered, Create Delivery Note leaves its menu.

In India with GST invoicing on, use delivery challans for job work, goods on approval and the other GST purposes — see Delivery challans.
