Invoice software for freelancers
Turn the work you agreed into a document your client understands: clear service descriptions, an estimate when the scope needs agreeing first, a separate invoice draft you review before it gets a number, and a tidy record of what you billed and what was paid.

Turn agreed work into service descriptions your client recognizes
Freelancer invoices get questioned when the line says less than the conversation did. Each line in Hectile has a name and a description, so the invoice can restate what was agreed — deliverables, rounds, what is handed over — in the client's words.
Use an estimate when scope and price need agreement
Send the estimate, let the client reply, and record the outcome. Recording acceptance is a note in your records — it does not create an invoice. When the work is done, or the deposit is due, create the invoice draft from the estimate with one action. The draft copies the client, currency and lines; you review dates and terms, and it gets its official number only when you finalize.
The estimate keeps its own number and stays Accepted while the invoice is a draft.
Clients and services you can reuse.
Save each client with their email, address and preferred currency, and the services you offer with a description and usual price. The next estimate for a returning client is a few choices, not a blank page. Adjust the price on a draft without touching the saved service; finalizing locks the issued financial details.
Record what you were paid. Hectile does not collect it.
Clients pay you by bank transfer or whatever you agreed, outside Hectile. Record each payment against the invoice — a deposit now, the balance on delivery — and the invoice shows Partially Paid, then Paid. Your payment instructions appear on the invoice; there is no "Pay now" button and no fee on your money.
Draft it from a sentence, if you like
Describe the job in plain English — client, lines, prices — and AI Quick Create produces a draft estimate or invoice for you to review. It fills fields from your words only; it does not invent prices, finalize or send anything. Everything on this page works without it, and the trial includes 10 AI actions to try.
How AI Quick Create worksFreelance invoicing questions
Yes. A fixed-price project is one or more lines with a description and an amount — quantity 1, or split into deliverables or milestones so the client can see what each part costs. Describe deposits and staged payments in the terms, and issue separate invoices for each stage if that is how you agreed to bill.
Yes. Save a client once with their contact details, address and preferred currency; select them on every future estimate or invoice. Saved services work the same way. Your brand details — name, logo, contact details, payment instructions — are stored on the brand and appear on every document automatically.
Yes, with an explicit action. After you record the estimate as Accepted, "Create invoice draft" copies the client, currency and lines into a new invoice draft. Review the issue date, due date and terms, adjust lines if you are billing a deposit, then finalize to assign the official number. The estimate keeps its own number and history, remains Accepted while the invoice is a draft, and shows Converted once the invoice is finalized.
Yes. Each client can have a preferred currency; a new document uses it, falling back to your brand and organization defaults. Amounts are entered in the document's currency and stay there — Hectile does not convert between currencies or apply exchange rates.
No. Every estimate and invoice can be built manually. AI Quick Create is optional: when available, it drafts a document from a plain-English request for you to review; it never finalizes, sends or records payments on its own.
