Invoices that look right and get paid

Pick a customer, add saved items or type new lines, choose the tax — the preview updates as you go. Finalize when it’s right: Hectile gives it the next number, makes the PDF and the secure link, and keeps every payment against it.

What you can do with it

Customers fill in themselves

Billing details, contacts, tax ID and preferred currency come from the customer you pick.

Saved items or typed lines

Use your catalogue in a click, or type a one-off line. Both work on every invoice.

Discounts, taxes and adjustments

Line and document discounts, reusable tax profiles and a rounding adjustment.

Numbers you can trust

Drafts have no number. Finalizing assigns the next one, and an issued invoice never changes.

How it works

Four steps, no training needed

  1. Choose the customer

Their address, contacts, GSTIN or TRN and currency fill the draft.

  2. Add lines and tax

Saved items, typed lines, quantities, rates, discounts and the tax profile.

  3. Check the preview

See exactly what your customer will see — in your Brand’s template.

  4. Finalize and send

Number assigned, PDF made. Email it, share on WhatsApp, or download it.

The editor

Everything an invoice needs, and nothing it doesn’t

Notes, terms and payment instructions live on the invoice, prefilled from your defaults. PO numbers, Ship To, custom fields, the amount in words, your signature and a UPI QR code appear when you use them — and Settings → Features hides the fields you never need.

Totals are worked out by Hectile’s own engine on the server, so the editor, the PDF, the link and your reports always agree to the paisa.

  • Live preview in your Brand’s template
  • Payment terms set the due date
  • Duplicate any invoice as a new draft
  • Online payment can be turned off per invoice
After it’s issued

Corrections without rewriting history

An issued invoice is a record. If something was wrong, Correct Invoice makes a new draft with the same content; finalizing it cancels the original and links the two. Reduce an invoice with a credit note, add to it with a debit note, or cancel it with a reason.

Every step — created, sent, viewed, reminded, paid — is in the invoice’s Activity, with who did it and when.

Good to knowInvoices with recorded payments, credit or write-offs can’t be corrected or cancelled — a credit note is the way to reduce them. That keeps what your customer received and what your records show the same.

FAQ

Questions about Invoices

When does an invoice get its number?

When you finalize it. Drafts stay unnumbered, so deleting a draft never leaves a gap in your series.

Can I change an invoice after it’s issued?

Not in place — issued invoices never change. Use Correct Invoice to issue a corrected one (the original is cancelled and linked), or a credit or debit note to change the amount.

Can one invoice have lines with different taxes?

Yes. Each line takes its own tax profile, and the totals show each tax separately.

Can I invoice in another currency?

Yes. Each invoice has one currency — from the customer’s preference, the Brand’s default or the Organization’s — and Hectile never converts your prices.

Is there a limit on invoices?

No. Both plans include unlimited invoices, estimates, customers and items.
