GST invoice generator for India
Prepare a professional GST invoice from your own business details and the GST tax profile you select. Hectile calculates the taxable value and the CGST/SGST or IGST components you configured, keeps the invoice as an editable draft, and assigns the official number only when you finalize.
What to review before finalizing a GST invoice
A practical review aid for a typical business-to-business GST invoice — not an exhaustive legal checklist. Requirements can differ by transaction, and some supplies have specific conditions or exceptions. Check current official guidance for your case.
CBIC: GST invoice rules (official)Supplier details
Legal name, address and GSTIN of the issuing Organization, exactly as registered.
Customer details
Name and address of the recipient, and their GSTIN where they are registered.
Invoice number and date
A unique, consecutive number and the issue date. Hectile assigns the number when you finalize.
Description of supply
A clear description of each service or product line, with quantity and unit where relevant.
Classification
The HSN or SAC classification for each line, as determined by the business from official guidance.
Taxable value
The value per line after any discount, before tax — the base each GST component is calculated on.
Tax components
The rate and amount of CGST and SGST, or IGST, and cess where applicable, per the selected tax profile.
Supply details
Place of supply where required, and whether tax is payable on reverse charge, as configured by the business.
CGST + SGST or IGST — the same taxable value, two illustrative scenarios
Hectile applies the tax profile you select. A profile can carry parallel components on one taxable value — CGST and SGST — or a single IGST component. Which treatment applies depends on the supplier's location and the place-of-supply rules for that supply; that decision is the business's, made under current GST rules. Hectile does not determine it.
Both scenarios below assume an 18% rate on a ₹50,000 taxable service value purely for illustration. 18% is not the rate for every service or product — the applicable rate and classification come from official guidance for your supply. Switching scenarios here compares two separate draft calculations; it does not change any issued invoice.
General Invoice GeneratorTwo parallel components on one taxable value: ₹50,000 × 9% = ₹4,500 for CGST and the same for SGST. Used where the business has determined the supply is intra-State under the applicable place-of-supply rules.

Your GSTIN belongs to the Organization. Brands present it.
In Hectile the legal business is an Organization, and its tax identity — GSTIN, legal name, registered address — is stored once at that level. Brands are trading identities inside the Organization: each can have its own logo, name and document numbering, but a brand's GST invoice carries the Organization's tax identity. A separate legal business needs its own Organization and subscription.
Invoicing across multiple brandsGST invoice preparation is not government e-invoicing
Hectile prepares, calculates and issues your invoice document. Government e-invoicing under GST — reporting invoice details to an Invoice Registration Portal to obtain an IRN and signed QR code — is a separate process that applies to certain notified taxpayers. Hectile does not perform it.

GST invoicing questions
Yes. A tax profile can hold parallel components — for example CGST 9% and SGST 9% — that are each calculated on the same taxable value and shown as separate lines in the tax summary. The profile name, components and rates are configured by you.
A single IGST component is typically used where the supply is treated as inter-State under GST rules. Whether a supply is intra-State or inter-State depends on the supplier's location and the place-of-supply rules that apply to it. You choose the tax profile accordingly; Hectile does not determine place of supply or the treatment.
No. You create tax profiles with the rates you determine from official guidance, and enter HSN/SAC classification per item or line. Hectile applies what you configured and calculates the amounts. It does not validate GSTINs, look up rates or classify supplies.
Yes. Every invoice starts as an editable draft with no number. Change lines, tax profile, dates or customer as often as you need. Finalizing assigns the next official number in the brand's sequence and locks the issued financial details.
No. Hectile does not report invoices to an Invoice Registration Portal, generate an IRN or signed QR code, or create e-way bills. If your business falls under a government e-invoicing requirement, that reporting happens outside Hectile; a PDF emailed from Hectile is not proof of compliance with such a mandate.
No. Hectile is invoicing software, not a filing, accounting or registration service. It does not prepare or submit returns, calculate input tax credit or provide tax advice.
Hectile offers a 7-day free trial for your first eligible owned Organization: an account is required, and the trial includes one Primary Brand and one member (plus ten total AI actions when AI is enabled). The trial needs a payment method and continues into the paid plan — $12 per month or $120 per year per Organization — unless you cancel before it ends.
