Invoice software for multi-brand businesses
One legal organization, several trading names. Each brand sends invoices and estimates under its own identity and numbering, while the customers, items, team and subscription that belong to the business stay shared — invoicing for multiple brands without running several accounts.
The legal business that owns the account.
One registered company, one subscription, one set of tax details. The organization holds your customers, saved items and services, team members and billing. Everything you create in Hectile belongs to it. Meridian Ventures Ltd. is the organization in the example.
A trading identity your customers see.
A name, logo, contact details, default currency and terms, and its own document numbering. Every invoice or estimate is issued by exactly one brand. Brightline Design, Harbor Marketing, Clearpath Consulting and Northstar Software are brands of Meridian Ventures Ltd.
Per brand: the face of the document. Shared: the business behind it.
Same organization. A different face on each document.
Choose a brand to see one of its issued documents. The identity, numbering prefix and defaults come from the brand; the legal organization named at the foot of the document stays the same. Each document below is a real issued record in the sample data with its own amount — switching brands does not re-issue or reinterpret anything.
Brands are for one business. A second company is a second organization.
The test is legal, not visual. If several trading names sit under the same registered company, they are brands. If you own two separately incorporated companies, each is its own organization with its own subscription, customers and records — nothing is mixed between them.
Meridian Ventures Ltd. trades as Brightline Design, Harbor Marketing, Clearpath Consulting and Northstar Software. One subscription; shared customers, items and team; separate identities and numbering.
Harbor Marketing FZ-LLC, a separately incorporated company with its own VAT registration, is a different organization — its own subscription, customers, tax profile and members, even if the same people own both.
Which currency a brand's document uses
A new document takes its currency from the first of three settings that is defined: the customer's preferred currency, then the brand's default, then the organization's default. Amounts are entered in that currency and stay in it. Hectile does not convert between currencies, so documents in different currencies keep separate balances.

PricingOrganization and brand questions
The organization is the legal business that owns the Hectile account: one company, one subscription, one set of tax details, and the shared customers, items and team. A brand is a trading identity inside it — name, logo, contact details, defaults and its own document numbering. Every document is issued by one brand on behalf of the organization.
Unlimited. The price is per organization, $12/month or $120/year, with no per-brand or per-seat fees. The 7-day trial includes one primary brand; additional brands can be added once the organization is activated.
Yes. Customers and saved items and services belong to the organization and can be used by any brand. A customer who buys from two of your brands is one record with documents from both. Prices on saved items are defaults: adjust the price on a draft without changing the saved item. Finalizing locks the issued financial details.
Yes. Each brand has separate sequences for invoices and estimates, with its own prefix — BR-INV-000119 and BR-EST-000038 for Brightline Design, HM-EST-000009 for Harbor Marketing. Numbers are assigned when a document is finalized; drafts are unnumbered.
Not at present. Members join the organization and can work in every brand within it, as Admin or Member. If you need people who must only ever see one brand, treat that as a limitation today rather than something to plan around.
No. A Hectile organization represents one legal business. Separately incorporated companies each need their own organization and subscription, with their own customers, tax profile and members — even when the same people own them. Brands are for trading names of the same company.
Give each brand its own identity, with one organization behind it.
Keep customer-facing documents distinct while sharing the customers, items and team that belong to the same business.
