GST invoices, checked before you issue
Turn on GST invoicing and Hectile checks every tax invoice against GST’s rules before it gets a number: your GSTIN and address, the customer’s GSTIN and status, the place of supply, HSN/SAC digits, the tax that fits, and a GST-valid number. Each problem comes with a Fix.

GST-valid numbers
16 characters, with series per registration and financial year.
Several GSTINs
One registration per state, each Brand with its default.
Four steps, no training needed
Turn on GST invoicing
Settings → GST, or the GST business starting point.
Add your registrations
Your main GSTIN, and others per state if you have them.
Create the invoice
The GST panel sets registration, place of supply and supply type.
Fix and finalize
Checks pass, the number is allocated, the GST details are frozen.
Regular, exports, SEZ and bills of supply
Supply types cover regular supplies, exports and SEZ supplies with or without IGST, and deemed exports — with the wording GST asks for and your LUT’s ARN under the title. Exempt and nil-rated supplies, and every invoice in the composition scheme, become bills of supply with their own series.
Customers carry their GST status — registered, unregistered, composition, overseas, SEZ — so the right supply type is suggested.
One PAN, every state
Register in more than one state? Add each GSTIN with its trade name and address. Each Brand has a default registration, an invoice can choose another, and each registration has its own GST-valid series like BD27/26-27-0042.

Questions about GST invoicing & checks
Is GST invoicing required to use Hectile in India?
No. It’s optional — turn it on when you’re registered, and leave it off for simple invoices.
Does Hectile decide my GST rate?
No. You choose the tax profile; Hectile checks that it fits the supply (CGST + SGST within a state, IGST between states and for SEZ, none under LUT).
Can I issue bills of supply?
Yes — for exempt or nil-rated supplies and in the composition scheme, with their own series.
Does it work for exports?
Yes. Export with IGST or under LUT, with the LUT’s ARN printed and place of supply “Outside India (96)”.
