GST-ready billing, from the first invoice to GSTR-1
Hectile is built for India’s GST. Every tax invoice is checked against GST’s rules before it’s issued, every GST document is one click away, and your e-way bill and GSTR-1 files are ready when you are — all optional, so you switch on only what your business needs.

Only what GST requires stops an invoice, and every check has a Fix: choose the place of supply, use IGST instead of CGST + SGST, add the HSN/SAC, use the right GST unit, make it a bill of supply.
HSN/SAC is checked against your turnover: 4 digits for registered customers up to ₹5 crore, 6 above it, 8 for exports of goods.

Tax invoices, notes, vouchers and challans
Tax invoice or bill of supply, GST or commercial credit note, debit note, receipt voucher for an advance, refund voucher, delivery challan, proforma and delivery note — each with the right title, wording and series.
- Supply types: regular, export and SEZ with or without IGST, deemed export
- Customers’ GST status suggests the supply type
- Reverse charge calculated and shown, never collected
One PAN, every state you’re registered in
Add a GSTIN for each state with its trade name and address. Each Brand has a default registration; an invoice can choose another. Each registration has its own GST-valid series and its own GSTR-1.
- Registrations are archived, never deleted
- Format, state code and check character verified
- LUT ARN per financial year

E-way bills and challans, without retyping
Make a delivery challan for lots against an invoice, job work or goods on approval, then the e-way bill file from it or from the invoice. Record the e-way bill number and it prints on the document.
- Lots never beyond the invoice’s quantity
- Goods on approval converted to an invoice for what was kept
- Transport details remembered
GSTR-1 ready to upload, months locked when filed
Pick a registration and a month or quarter. Hectile puts every document in GSTR-1’s tables, checks them against your documents, and gives you the portal’s JSON and the offline tool’s Excel. Mark the month filed and it’s locked.
- B2B, B2CL, B2CS, exports, notes, advances, nil, HSN, documents issued
- Commercial notes and imported invoices left out and listed
- Only the Owner reopens a filed month, with a reason

GST when you need it, simple when you don’t
GST invoicing is optional, even in India. New businesses answer one question at setup — Simple invoicing, Invoices and estimates, GST business or Everything — and the right features switch on. Change any of them later in Settings → Features.
Not registered yet? Invoice simply now and turn GST on the day you register; your earlier documents stay exactly as they were.
- Composition scheme supported
- Fields GST requires locked on while GST is on
- Outside India, nothing about GST is shown
Invoices and payments. Add more any time.
Quote first, then invoice.
Everything GST needs, switched on.
Every feature, GST off.
What Hectile does — and doesn’t — do for GST
Hectile does
- Check tax invoices against GST’s rules before issuing
- Keep your GSTINs, series, LUT and composition settings
- Make every GST document with the right wording
- Prepare the e-way bill portal’s bulk-upload file
- Prepare GSTR-1 as the portal’s JSON and the offline tool’s Excel
- Lock filed months so records match returns
- Keep GST records — and remind you of the 72-month rule
Hectile doesn’t
- File returns on the GST portal — you or your accountant upload and file
- Generate e-invoices (IRN and signed QR) — not part of Hectile today
- Sign in to the e-way bill portal for you
- Check whether a GSTIN is active (it checks format and check digit)
- Decide your rates, exemptions or reverse charge — you choose; Hectile checks the fit
GST questions
Is Hectile ready for GST?
Yes — Hectile is built for GST: with GST invoicing on, tax invoices are checked against GST’s invoice rules before they’re issued, and every GST document carries the required details. You stay responsible for your returns, which you or your accountant file on the GST portal.
Can Hectile file my GSTR-1?
Hectile prepares the GSTR-1 file — the portal’s JSON and the offline tool’s Excel — and checks it against your documents. You upload and file it on the GST portal.
Does Hectile generate e-invoices (IRN)?
No. Businesses that must report invoices to the Invoice Registration Portal need an e-invoicing provider for that step.
Can I have more than one GSTIN?
Yes — one per state, all under one PAN, each with its own series and GSTR-1.
Does it support the composition scheme?
Yes. Every invoice becomes a bill of supply with the required wording, and the page reminds you that CMP-08 and GSTR-4 are filed instead of GSTR-1.
Is GST available on both plans?
Yes. Every GST feature is in Standard and Business.
