  1. Three copies in one PDF — Original for consignee, Duplicate for transporter, Triplicate for consigner.
  2. Purpose — decides the tax and the e-way bill sub-type.
  1. Turn on Delivery challans

    Settings → Features → GST.

  2. Create the challan

From an issued invoice (lots) or New Document → Delivery Challan.

  3. Choose the purpose

The consignee is the customer; place of supply and registration come from the GST panel.

  4. Issue and print

Numbered from the DC- series (or the registration’s).

  5. Make the e-way bill file if needed

    From the challan.

Lots never beyond the invoice

Each line of a delivery from an invoice names the invoice line it delivers. When issued, Hectile refuses a lot that would take more than the invoice’s quantity. The invoice page shows “Delivered on challans” per line.

Goods on approval

When the customer decides, Convert to Invoice asks what they kept per line — those quantities become a tax invoice draft; the rest are returned. All Returned records that nothing was kept. A week before six months pass, the Brand’s people are reminded — goods not returned within six months count as supplied.
